The Nothingface Show
We got to Tampa easily, but it was a bitch finding Ybor City. This was my first time driving to Tampa by myself. We made it there though. I got into Ybor, parked in the parking garage which is right next to the club Nothingface was playing it. I walk out of the parking garage and right there... Tommy Sickless, Bill Gaal, and the motherfucking man, the myth, Tom Maxwel were all standing there. For those who don't know, thats the whole band minus the singer Matt. I got to sit there and hang out with them for about 20 minutes, and I actually had a 10 minute conversation with Tom Maxwel. He's so fucking bad ass, and he's cool as fuck. He likes to talk shit about Cradle of Filth. Hahaha. You can see a pic of this encounter here.
I was so fucking happy to meet Maxwell. He is a legend in my eyes and an amazing guitarist. After a while, we went in and hung out. There weren't very many people there. Maybe 75 at the most. It was great. I was on the rail directly in front of Matt the entire time. :) I uploaded one of the pics I took just so you guys could get a visual of what it was like. Right here. It was so godly to hear these songs that I worship be played live. To be 3 feet from Matt holt as he screams 'Kill that motherfucker' and countless other little lyrics. It was fucking amazing. One of the best days of my life.
After the show, I went out to their tour bus and Matt was there talking with some fans. I got to meet him, and got a pic with him. He looks kinda goofy in it because he thought the picture was taken, but my friend kind of fucked it up. Ass >:O That pic is here. After that, I went home. Good fucking shit. I bought a new Nothingface shirt with their logo on it, and the sick ass skeleton on the back. I also got Tommy Sickles' set list, some stickers, a Nothingface poster board, and some other minor shit. Best fucking show ever.
My first day of real work was yesterday. Stocking shelves. I had to do fucking charcoal and the whole dog/cat food aisle. Fucking hard shit. My body isn't used to this shit. the bags of charcoal were 10 pounds each in a pack of 6. I'm really sore, but my body with adapt. I work again today... and tomorrow, and then I'm off. Alright I'm out.
