I've been a little busy lately and there hasn't been much to talk about, really. This fucking Katrina thing sucks. It really does. See, everyone is so fixated on this situation in the south that they don't care about anything else that's going on. Not that I blame them, but it sucks for me because no one is interesting in extremely important subjects like Bush pulling a fast one and nominating a very young man with no real record as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. No one's talking about how disturbing this action is, and I'm not writing about it because I don't think anyone will care.

This situation in New Orleans just has complete control of the nation's attention. I stopped caring about a week ago, honestly. They can give these people $2000 that they didn't earn all day long. They can "relieve" lying fraud fucked FEMA directors all day long. Michael Chertoff can be a dick to the media all day long. General Honore can talk like a drug addict on high on coke all day long. Fox News can play the brand new "everything is getting better" music all day long. I can see dead bodies on TV all day long. I can see the carnage and destruction of the south all day long. I can hear about Kenye West calling George Bush a racist all day long, as well as hear Chris Rock accuse George Bush of not caring about midgets all day long.

But in the end, I still don't give a shit. It's done and over with and all of the excitement is gone. I'll read the headlines, but the articles are just too painfully boring and uninteresting to read. Enough already. We know, the south is fucked. Let's move on to the big story now, which is a man with no judicial record, who is extremely young, being given a life term to the most powerful position in the United States, in my opinion. If you really think about it, it's true. Presidents, if they're lucky, get 8 years in power. Rehnquist had 33 years of absolute power over the courts. How long do you think Roberts, if confirmed, will serve?

The fact of the matter is, this is disgusting. I fully support Roberts' nomination as a Supreme Court justice. I definitely do not support his nomination as Chief Justice. He has no record for christ's sake. A position as important as this, a man needs an extensive record to judge. Bush is very lucky to have this disaster on his hands, as he can sneak Roberts right in there. He even still wants him confirmed by October 1st. Eat a dick, Bush. I hope those fucking Democrat snakes in the Judicial Committee devour him. Him and his fucking hyperactive son.

I thought I said I wasn't going to write about it. Oh well. Here's a little update for ya. I'm working on this new concept. It's sort of like theonion.com but better. Without the ads everywhere and not so politically based. It's basically going to be an outlet for creativity whereas this site is a way for me to look at reality with a magnifying glass. On my new site, I will use my clever imagination to think up hilarious news stories and to also make fun of current news stories. It'll be good, trust me.

So I've been working on that as well as working a lot lately. Time to shoot off to work. Enjoy yourself, bitches. It's a celebration.
