Midterm Elections

I voted - I made freedom count! So said the sticker that the elderly gentlemen handed me shortly before I left my local voting location.

A lot of cowardly pussified adult men will refuse to say who they voted for today. I love that. Here you are; an adult man who is who doesn't have the nuts to say who you like and why. Come the fuck on. There's no reason why you can't admit why you like or dislike your guy or girl. Man the fuck up and answer me when I ask you who you voted for. And yes, woman seem to be excluded from this mindset.

Another election item that I truly believe; If you don't vote, shut your fucking mouth. It's true. Why should you have a moral right to voice your opinion with your mouth when you don't voice your opinion with your actions? Are you too busy? No time to vote? Scheduling conflict? Blow me. I made time for it and so can you.

Now do I mean you literally have no right to speak your mind about politics if you don't vote? Of course not. Say whatever you will when you're with your friends at the bar. Say what you want when you're at the dinner table or playing poker. But when you come to debate on a bigger stage, like with actual intelligent people or on a fancy popular website like TheSick.net, you haven't a fucking pot to piss in when it comes to discussion if you haven't voted. Like I said, you can't express your opinion vocally when you don't express it physically.

As for the elections in Florida, we've got some good stuff. Bill Nelson and Katherine Harris. Oh Kat Harris, who I wrote about in August, is absolutely fucked. She's getting creamed in the polls and I look forward to seeing her get owned tonight. Katherine Harris is a republican.

I voted Democrats across the board this year, excluding the governorship. The fact of the matter is this, the Republicans have absolutely shit the bed these past 6 years. They have honestly made this country not just a little bit worse, but a lot worse than it was in 2000. I want the Democrats to have a shot at putting their money where their mouth is. Why not is what I think. 6 years is sufficient to prove that you absolutely fucking suck at running America in this day and age.

I'm a very firm Independent who slightly leans Libertarian. I by all means do not like the Democrats. I just believe they can do a much better job for this country than Republicans. They have proved that they will let our insane, ignorant, and stubborn leader do whatever he wants. We just keep digging our grave deeper and deeper with these insane fucking muslims. They don't get it.

In 2001, these fucking dirty Islamic cunts had no legitimate reason for hating us and for doing what they did 9/11. Now in 2006, we've given these predisposed insane motherfuckers an actual legit reason to hate us. Come the fuck on, we've killed over 100,000 Iraqis in Iraq. That's the lowest estimate. Think the people related to those dead people aren't pissed? If an invading country killed a member of your family, and you had nothing to live for in some shitty 3rd world country, what would you do? Exactly.

And the truth is that most of the country feels the same way, to a certain extent. That's why the Democrats will be in control of the house. When it comes to my district, I voted Democrats even though our Congresswoman did some pretty good stuff. She handled the Jessica Lunsford case extremely well and absolutely fast tracked the legislation and did everything she could to make sure laws were tightened on pedophiles. I liked her better, but I really want the Democrats in control before it's too late. So I voted for the Dem, even though he's probably not going to win.

For Governor however, I went Republican. Charlie Crist is a good guy and I think he's fairly moderate. He was just the better candidate and I don't mind which party controls my state. I more so care about the man himself and his politics. He was the Attorney General of Florida and did lots of good stuff for the people, including investigating oil companies.

We'll see how things turn out. Hopefully some positive change will happen and we won't bury ourselves too deeply in Iraq.

I'll start off with, I don't vote. I would vote Republican across the board, and my wife would vote Democrat across the board. So, we see no sense of voting if we are just going to cancel each other out. Do you hate me for that?

You say, "They have honestly made this country not just a little bit worse, but a lot worse than it was in 2000."

How is it "a lot worse" now? Or, if that is your belief, then the main question would be WHY is it a lot worse? Did 9/11 have anything to do with it?

Then you say, "I want the Democrats to have a shot at putting their money where their mouth is."

Exactly where is their mouth? None of them have said what they are going to do! They keep saying the President is an idiot, but none of them have plans on what they would do.

I agree with Pastor Jim, I have not heared the Dems say what they are going to do... and I've listened carefully. Pointing out what the current administration is doing wrong is NOT a policy (Tom Allen-my congressman)! I don't need them to tell me, I can see that for myself. I want to hear what their plan is and so far, I haven't heared it.

I voted Republican for Govenor and Congressman. Lost both of them. I did not vote for the incumbent Rep. Senator (she's a RINO) and she won. Not a good day from my perspective.

I live in the highest taxed state in the country and we voted down a taxpayer bill of rights. The largest employer in the state is the state Government. What's wrong with that picture? The Government (any Government) should not be in the business of "creating" jobs. The Government's job is to make it easy for businesses to do business so that they can provide the jobs. Jobs that actually provide goods and services - not yet another government office funded off the backs of the taxpayers. In the last 4 years, businesses and our college grads have left our state in droves.

Anonymous, you're a dumb bag of cunt. I've been beyond busy this week. I'm in the process of moving, and since you probably live at home you might not understand that process.

PJ - I don't hate you for not voting, silly. I was speaking of the types who argue on television. You know, professional opinion givers like me.

I will tell you why it's a lot worse, because I think you breezed by one of my points. The Islamic world already disliked us for their own stupid reasons. They had no legit reason.

George Bush bombed Iraq and we've slaughtered over 100,000 Iraqi civilians since we've been there. Every one of those who were killed had at least one person who felt enormous amounts of pain due to their loss. Now what do you think they're going to do about that pain?

George Bush and the Republican party made the Islamic world hate us about 100,000 times more than they did. That's how it's a lot worse.

I don't know what the Democrats plan is. I know they have a great plan for Iraq, which is basically making three separate governments... Almost like States. That's a start.

What I do know is they're not going to keep doing what Bush is doing, with this fucking pathetic and shameless stay the course bullshit. It makes me want to vomit all over the fucking place.

Thanks PJ.

And Ken, thank you for the SD updates. I like staying tuned to that situation.

Ken, you sound like a libertarian to me. I'm very libertarian leaning, so maybe that's why you like my site. Regardless, I feel what you're saying. I have the same response for you though about the Democrats.

There isn't one set clear cut plan to fix things in Iraq. But what I know for sure is they will do something other than what the Republicans are doing, which is failing.

I can tell you how to fix this right now, and there are only three options.

1) Capture Osama Bin Laden, and leave with pride intact. 100% dedication to capturing that stinky brown fuck, wether it means invading Pakistan or not.

2) Put an absolute genius in charge of the entire war. I'm talking literally, the most brilliant military man. No politics. Just straight up intelligence, and give him full control.

3) Just leave and say have a nice day.

Any one of those ideas would be brilliant compared to this fucking obnoxious staying the course shit. It makes me sick.

To fly a plane into a building takes very few people hating our guts. These were the extremists. Now we have invaded and are occupying their country. What we don't want is ALL the people in that country hating us.

You are exactly right, Zach. And the fact of the matter is that the majority of their country DOES hate us, and I certainly don't blame them.
