Defining "Sex Offender"
These sick fucks are everywhere, and if we're going to crack down on these motherfuckers, I think it's about time we recognize sick fucks for what they are and stop lumping together people who made stupid decisions along with them. From Indiana comes this story, about a Judge Mary Harper who sent a 19 year old kid to prison for fucking his 15 year old girlfriend. This is just appalling, and it makes me sick.
First of all, the article refers to this 19 year old as a man. A 19 year old is not a man. A 19 year old is still a kid, I don't give a shit what the law says. This is basically a senior banging a freshmen here. Since when is this is a criminal matter, resulting in this poor fucking going to prison? This is precisely how you ladies learn to find yourself good guys. All girls get at least one assholes in highschool who uses you, and you learn to have better judgement. And this guy gets prison for it, probably because the Judge cannot look at this girl without seeing her own failing as a mother I supposed. What a whore.
When you don't harshly and rigidly define the phrase "sexual predator" and "sexual offender", you are doing nothing more than confusing the issue at hand and diverting attention from the real issue: Sick fucking men touching little fucking boys and girls. I now am forced to rigidly and harshly define these two extremely different terms.
A sexual offender is one who commits a sexual crime. Rape, sexual assault, statutory rape, etc. A sexual predator, at least how it's defined in most states, is someone who has committed a sexual offense more than once. This is no fucking good at all. We need to change things up, redefine and reconfigure so things get the proper attention they deserve.
"Sex Crimes" is the term I'd like to use for everything other than little boy and girl fucking. If it's not a sexual molestation or rape on a victim under 12, then it's a sex crime. A sex crime would be defined as the opposite, with it being sexual molestation or rape on a victim under 12. This 12 year old line is negotiable, and is to be used on a case by case basis. The question in that area is this: Is the victim actually victimized? Was the victim's innocence fucked with? A 14 year old girl who is the slut of the school, getting cranked down by a 20 year old is of no concern to me. Basically, it's all about victimization.
Those people are sexual offenders and sexual predators. Let them have the term, so the important issue of catching these motherfuckers and getting them in a prison to be killed by their fellow inmates will be pursued. A 19 year old banging some girl 4 years younger than him? Come the fuck on. This isn't a fucking crime and it has no business being tried in a court. It is absolutely morally wrong the surface, but we have no idea how physically, and more importantly, emotionally developed this 15 year old girl is. Regardless, this guy is going to walk around being labeled a sex offender and I think it's bullshit.
This guy being called a sex offender takes away from people like John Couey, who was a sex offender when he murdered Jessica Lunsford in my god damn county. Maybe, just maybe if that term had a little fucking meaning, and wasn't so watered down and diluted with this kids-fucking-kids horse shit, then the severity of his status and his absconding from parole just may have gotten the proper attention.

I totally agree with you. I don't even have an argument there. I think 19-year old should have gotten a slap on the wrist punishment, but not jailtime. I definitely think Statutory in and of itself should not be punished by registering as a sex offender.
What is up with Florida? It seems that whenever I hear stories of child abductors/molesters or just anything bizarre in general, 9 times out of 10, it happens in Florida. I saw that guy on tv who grabbed Carlie Brucia off the street in broad daylight not so long ago. I would like to travel down to Fl just to kick HIS ASS!! WHat is it about your state that attracts all of the losers? (you are an exception, of course) Is it easier to get drugs or is it just that they like warm weather?
GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cupcake.
Matt,
Again your are totally off course here. Statutory Rape should be inforced! The man was 19 and fucking a 15 year old? He obviously has graduated from highschool and his "girlfriend" barely started school, technically she isn't even old enough to date! I'm sorry but if my 15 year old daughter was fucking a 19 year old I would have him prosecuted by the stiffest penalty of the law if he refused to stay away from my daughter, that or I would kill him myself! Still love the blog Matt.
I was 15 years old when I lost my virginity to my 14 year old girlfriend. I admit, it was too young to be doing that. But when I was 18, she was 17--I still could have been severely penalized had her parents found out we were "fucking". Would you feel better then, if your hypothetical 15 year old daughter were fucking a 15 or 16 year old? You can preach abstinence all you want, but we've all been 15, and we all know how well we listened to our own parents.
hey, i was 16 and had relations with a 15 yr old her parents went after me when i was 17 and i was waved in to adult court and sat in jail and the whole nine yards now i am 31 and i have a daughter 8yrs old and as far as the parents comments maybe you should be talking to your kid about this instead of blaming another kid or typing on the internet,--our kids may not listen to us only if your not really listening to them to many parent dont keep relations w da kids, so i think im the best to talk about this topic because i know ill teach my daughter the right way by talking to her and not blaming my lack of fatherhood on a high school child!
