Whoops
Fox News and CNN reported hours ago that 12 of the 13 trapped miners were alive. The reports were wrong, and they're actually all dead but one. Neither network has reported this yet officially except for CNN radio.
As I'm writing this, Fox News is now correcting the story live. Everyone was celebrating and everything, and they're all fucking dead. How 12 of 13 alive turned into 12 of 13 dead absolutely baffles me. What a plot twist.

I feel horrible about what happened to these miners and their families. The focus needs to be taken off of the miscommunication mishap and onto why the accident happened in the first place.
What these people went through with believing their loved ones were alive and then a double whammy of finding out it was untrue sucks, but it won't bring them back.
Let's just fix the issue so it never happens again.
