RU-486 WILL KILL YOU

EXTRA EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT!
RU-486 HAS KILLED TWO PEOPLE AND YOU COULD BE NEXT

Why is this headline news? Why is this a main story of the Fox News main page? I just can't comprehend how a news organization can be so irresponsible. Why are they taking this nothing-stat, and presenting it as if it is some shocking revelation. And worse than that, I have to wonder if people are actually reading the headline, listening to stupid Shepard Smith talk about it, presenting it as an actual credible newsworthy story, and saying "Oh god, that's bad stuff."

According to the "story", 4U-486 has been the cause of 7 deaths since 2000. So in 5-6 years, it has killed 7 people. 4 of those 7 people did not take the pill according to proper medical instructions, and Darwin had to step in and take care of business.

This number is so low, that I have a hard time believing that anyone is taking this story seriously, and I would hope that everyone, like me, is wondering why Fox News is throwing this out here like it's a shocking thing. In 2003, 147 people died because of Tylenol. Now I'll admit that many of those deaths were indeed suicide, but not all of them. Tylenol, which I'll bet you've taken at least once since the new year, has killed many more people than the abortion pill.

So shut the fuck up and leave it alone. I'm tired of Fox News pandering to their right wing viewers. It's fucking obnoxious. I this Fox News definitely has the best on-air talent, and that's why they're my network of choice. But I really am looking forward to seeing a Democrat in office, so I can watch them fall off their pedestal. They're just being arrogant at this point with their news reporting, and I'm tired of it.

RU-486 is A-OK. Although, I find it quite interesting that abortion clinics, including warm and fuzzy places like Planned Parenthood actually charge much more for RU-486 treatment than an actual sucking-a-fetus-through-a-tube procedure. Isn't that nice? No matter how pro-choice I am, and no matter how much I support a woman's right to do whatever the fuck she wants with her body, I can't say I don't point and cackle every time an abortion clinic gets firebombed.

The only reason it is really even newsworthy is that the reasons that the women died weren’t the pills. It was that they took them in a way that weren’t indicated by the makers and were instructed to do so by guess who...? Abortion Clinics.

The pills (5 of them) are to be taken 3 at once and then 2 days later you take the other 2, and being they are pills you take them orally of course.

Now for some reason the clinics are telling them women to take the last 2 vaginally, that is stick them in their vaginas. According to the clinics it works as well although it is in a very small number of cases causing a blood infection that is fatal.

I thought it to be very weird. I haven’t heard the reason for not just swallowing the pill like the directions say. Although I saw it on CNN and MSNBC.

I think anytime a woman is killed by birth control related issues it makes news because everyone is hypersensitive to it. But you are right there are many more deaths from other things that never make the news. The same is true with other political issues as well. For instance you will hear about pretty white girls being kidnapped or killed while many others not so pretty or white disappear without all the fanfare.
