Flag Burning
Now this situation is pretty complicated because it involves a few different issues. First, there's the opinion of whether or not flag burning constitutes free speech. The second issue asks whether flag burning is morally wrong. The third issue is should it be made illegal. The fourth of course being whether it should be legislated via the constitution.
Flag burning absolutely is free speech. Sure, it's fairly shitty speech. Making a sign that says "Bush Is a Nazi" is the exact same activity as burning a flag. It's political. It's expression. Legislating against sign writing or flag burning in my opinion, is in direct opposition to the opinion of every person who risked their lives forming this country we live in.
It pisses and shits all over the Constitution. But that's ok, really. I've gotten used to it with these pieces of shit the morons that live amongst me have elected in their respected states. I find it utterly disturbing that even one Senator would make an attempt to change our Constitution over flag burning. This is reserved for such things as in blacks being free and women being able to vote. Flag burning? You horrible power-starved whores.
The worst part of it all though is the philosophy behind it all. You see, just one person prevented this bullshit from passing. And here's what you have to think about and remember. The people who wrote our Constitution were very intelligent and thoughtful. Sure, some of the arguments can be made in regards to things like, "Well they couldn't have possibly imagined x, y and z in this day and age." Sure, I can accept that. The founders were in fact, fallible.
But the fact of the matter is this; These people fought so hard for this country we have precisely because of utter bullshit like this. This control. This brute force. They made a place were you could hate it and live there at the same time. You can be mad at it, do something to show people you're angry at it, and still love it at the same time. That's what its all about fuck heads. That's why America exists in the first place. To be the complete opposite of what these fucking cretins are trying to make it.
When all else fails, just remember back to when you were a kid and someone tried telling you what to do. What would you say...? "It's a free country." And that's the way it needs to stay. Otherwise we might as well change the name of this place, because America and freedom go hand in hand. The freedom to offend, and the freedom to do whatever I want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else or cause danger to anyone else or their property. What's wrong with that?
These fucking socialist rats that are taking over scare the shit out of me on a day to day basis. I'm worried. I just don't understand how one, not to mention 66 mothefuckers would attempt to desecrate our Constitution. The Constitution is in place to tell the Government what it can't do. It's a rule book for the law makers. It's out country's bible. It is not and was not ever designed to restrict what the people do. When you realize that fact, you'll realize how much of a bunch of scum bags those 66 motherfuckers are. Good day.

When is your 'best of' section going to be finished? Ever since I've started reading, it has always said "working on it...". Just wondering.
Thanks for asking. It'll be done up as soon as I stop being lazy, to be completely honest. I'm a procrastinator. It'll get done though. I have all of those posts picked out already, just have to do up the page. Thanks.
Burning the flag is an expression of an opinion that is (and should be) considered free speech. I don't happen to agree with that opinion, but I would defend the right to express it.
I think it is cowardly for an American to express his opinion by burning his own country's flag in a county that defends his right to do so. I would be more impressed by someone, say a North Korean citizen, who burned his country's flag in public defience of the leadership. THAT would take real balls and THAT I could respect!
Zack, I'll join you in the flag burning if it ever passes. We can use my left over 4th of July fireworks to start the blaze. After all, they won't have much use either.
Matt, I agree that it is a sorry state of affairs if we have to rely on one man to keep us from falling further into a socialist state.
Matt, thanks for turning me onto Nothingface. Amazing.
"thanks for turning me on"
Haha, How cool would that look out of context?
Always glad to turn people on to the greatest band EVARRR.
